Do you remember Adi & Wenny? A few months ago, we shared their prewedding pictures in Hokkaido and their amazing love story in our blog. The image is still fresh in my mind, how we captured their lovely moment in the middle of a lavender field. And how we were in a rush to catch our train back to Sapporo. Unfortunately, we were 3 minutes late and we had to wait for the next train to come. I know that being 3 minutes late meant something to Adi, hahahaa! Even though they knew that we could be 2 hours late, and miss our last location in Sapporo, I could see how calm they were, still smiling, and enjoying every moment that they had there.
But that was just one story among all the stories they've shared with us that is still on my mind. On January, we finally captured their wedding in Singapore. I must admit that I could not wait to capture this wedding. They are not just my client but more like a best friend to me. And especially I knew how they met and it was so unique and full of coincidences. So I am little bit curious on how they will start their new beginning as husband and wife.
Adi is a person who loves to plan things. If we have to say who the "Zila" is in this wedding, every person that know them personally will absolutely point their fingers to Adi. Adi is the person who prepared all the wedding detail, the invitation, the solemnization, venue, and everything. And you guys have to read the rundown that he made. I must say he can be a perfect wedding organizer. He sent me a minimum of 3 types of rundown (but I believe he had created more versions). Each rundown was made specifically for every vendor and the person in charge. And that was one of the most detailed and the most perfect rundown that I've ever received. Even more detailed compared to the ones from wedding organizers. The one thing that he gave the decision to the bride was to choose her wedding designer and makeup artist. ^^
One day before the wedding when I spent most of my time shopping in Orchard Road (Oops).... He briefed all the helpers on what they had to do, their specific job, and on..and on..until late.
But we know Adi, and his typical super planning. He may sounds scary but believe me, he did all those very mindfully and in a very nice.
So.. why did I say that I could not wait to see this wedding? Because every person who knows Adi will say that he is a person of planning, but I wanted to know how a man called Adi is in Wenny's eyes. I could not wait to hear her vow.
You know, love allows us to know a person until the very depth of their heart. And the perfect way to know a person is from their lover. :)
So that day, in a very clear morning, in a very nice gazebo on the rooftop of Marriot Hotel, and surrounded by the amazing skyline of Singapore, they faced each other, holding hands, looking into each other’s eyes with love and Wenny started to say her Vow.
"Adi..You are a man with the biggest heart I’ve ever known. You are smart, charming, thoughtful, caring, and a loving person, and you make me have the brightest smile when I'm around you. It's magical when you come to my life, and I expect nothing out of it. Suddenly, there right in front of me, is you, everything that I ever needed. I love you and I still fall in love with you."
When I heard that I just froze, for a moment I could not press the button on my camera. Time suddenly went slowly and what I could see was just a perfect, such a perfect couple who belongs together, and I know they are falling in love.
For me, that was more than enough to brighten my day. And I know their pictures will be great, since I can see love around them.
