Once again, I witnessed how love works beautifully in our life. Few days ago, Me, Steve and Amel, we captured this beautiful wedding of Arnies & Geovanni. This couple is so special for us, not just because how close we are, but how their love story has blessed us. We know that God always work in a mysterious way but one thing for sure, we know that for those who love God, all things works together for goodness. But that day, we were so excited because we were together for one reason, to see how this beautiful people start their new life, a new page in their life as a husband and wife. We know sometimes a wedding can be so stressful. There are so many things to manage, and since this is a once lifetime experience, we want everything to be perfect and flawless. But they were different. For them, wedding is about celebration of love and it's a beautiful grace from God. I remember when I entered Geo’s room that morning, it was her make up session, I asked if she was nervous, and with her smile she answered that she's ready for everything. She knows that Arnies is the perfect man for her and she's ready to begin the new chapter of her life journey with him. So with her typical joke, Geo said, “Whatever the vow is, I will say Yes! ” This is why we were laughing and make the hashtag #PokoknyaIya for their day. But I heard a same story from Steve too. Steve was with Arnies that day, and everything run very smooth. Arnies knows that Geo is the answer from the very beginning.
So when they walked through the aisle at the chapel, when they said their promises and when they put on those rings to their fingers, their smile overwhelmed the air and everybody in that room knew that they are more than happy. They were overwhelmed with joy.
One thing we learn from them was, life is beautiful but living with love is more beautiful. When you have each other, there is nothing too big to worry about. Like how God prepared the way for them to meet each other miraculously, they also believe that God has already prepared the next path for them. Since the very beginning they were so sure about their decision to have each other, and it was just a matter of time for this beautiful day to happen. And now I understand with this very famous quote from the famous movie When Harry Met Sally said "when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."
