I remember the day when we met Hans & Miki for the first time, at a very nice cafe, decorated with rustic woods and glasses. Since we arrived earlier that day, I chose a very nice maroon sofa near the mini bar, and single chairs for me and Steve. I intentionally chose the sofa because not only it looks comfortable, but also the size is just enough for two. To be honest, I just want to see how close they are, their love gestures, and their intimacy sitting on the tight sofa. *They must be smiling by now when they read this...
And the moment of truth came when they arrived and sit on the sofa. It didn't take long for me to realize that they were a lovely couple who were really deeply in love. I remembered that my heart was like pumping and fulfilled with happiness as I saw them.
I love to see people who are deeply in love, because just by seeing them, the feeling itself will recharge me. That was what I felt that day, excited and mesmerized at the same time.
After that, we talked about their love story and it blessed me more. I know love can come rushing at you, anytime, anywhere, under any circumstances. They told us how different they were, how impossible that they could be together, but there they were, together. Hans is a doctor who spends most of his time taking care of his patients. During his free time, he spends his time playing with his motorbikes. How about Miki? Miki is born to be an artist. She graduated from design school in San Francisco and came back to Jakarta full of dreams.
And here they are, a doctor and an artist. What a perfect match anyway.
We did their photo session in Hong Kong. It was summer, but the weather did not affect them a lot. Every session was so easy and smooth. I did not have to direct them a lot, they were naturally beautiful to be captured. Love rules!
Oh! They love wines, and to make their session more personal, I suggested them to do their session at a wine storehouse, and they agreed without thinking twice.
This is why I adore my Job, I can be a witness of how beautiful love can be, and have the privilege to capture it's beauty on frames.
For Hans & Miki, Congratulations!
By now, Miki has Hans to take care of her everyday, and Hans too, he has Miki to draw their life more beautiful day by day.
The best wishes from me,
Artha
