“Everything will be beautiful in His time”
Fate as we know it, is such a mystery. We would never know what it will give us; it could be the things that we’ve been wishing for, or it could be something that we dread to ever happen. Only God knows the path that is bestowed upon us. But what if fate puts our faith to the test without letting us know what the ending would be? Would we still go through with it? That's where Dessy and Robert's journey begins.
As fate would have it, they brought the two individuals together. Unbeknownst to their mutual friend and who is definitely a cupid in disguise, Robert got to meet Dessy. And as fate would have it, they clicked instantly. There was nothing for Robert to hide and Dessy enjoyed that strong personality of his. On the contrary, Robert would reciprocate his love by cooking all of her favorite dishes to enjoy. It was really as if the stars aligned perfectly for these two. It did not take fate long before the two fell in love and the ring was put on Dessy's finger. The wedding is on!

But as fate would have it, like a cruel twist, a pandemic broke out that affected millions of lives around the world; including Robert and Dessy. Their wedding planning was disrupted as most places were locked down. When so many couples decided to reschedule their wedding, they knew, that faith will overcome this small obstacle. They had to coordinate their wedding at two different places! Robert was stuck out of town while Dessy was in Jakarta making sure that their wedding goes according to plan. When the toughest was in motion, they believed. Even if the wedding was a small ceremony, they had to make it happen. Its not the big party that matters, but the rite of matrimony and unification of love is what counts.

Fate does play with us sometimes. But faith overcomes our fate. The new normal as its called, allowed Robert to immediately fly back and put Dessy in his arms.
When the Kairos team was there taking pictures of their wedding, it was as if the wedding was planned perfectly. It felt like a wedding that wasn’t planned during the pandemic. Besides everyone wearing masks and making sure that we all look the part in the new normal, Dessy and Robert made sure that everyone was as comfortable and enjoyed the intimate party. And the Kairos team definitely felt grateful that these two lovebirds knew that everything beautiful will come in His time.
